What is industrial automation?
Industrial automation is the use of technology to control production processes with minimal direct human intervention. A typical system combines a PLC (programmable logic controller), SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition), HMI (operator interface), sensors, actuators, variable frequency drives, and soft starters to operate production lines, move fluids, control motors, and acquire process data continuously and traceably. Process control
We design and implement automatic control loops for continuous and batch processes: surveying variables, designing the control logic, programming the PLC, integrating field instrumentation, and validating the sequence in the plant. SCADA and HMI
We configure operator screens (HMI) and SCADA servers to give the plant and management real-time visibility. This includes designing process screens, configuring alarms, generating historians, and shift reports. The operator sees what's happening; management has the data to make decisions.
Motor control with Emotron drives
As the official Emotron distributor for Central America, we integrate TSA soft starters (5.5–1000 kW, inrush current reduction up to ~30%) and FDU/VFX variable frequency drives into industrial automation projects. The FDU for flow and pressure applications (pumps, fans, compressors) and the VFX for dynamic, high-demand applications (cranes, mills, crushers, mixers). Includes on-site commissioning and start-up.
Industrial instrumentation
We select, install, and calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, level, and vibration sensors and transmitters. For shaft-power measurement without additional external sensors, we integrate the Emotron M20 monitor, which uses the motor itself as the sensor to detect overloads, pump under-load, and abnormal conditions before they damage the equipment.
Industrial process optimization
We diagnose existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements: control-loop tuning, PID tuning, sequence optimization, cycle-time reduction, and energy efficiency. We don't replace what works; we improve what limits your production.
Systems maintenance and updates
We offer preventive and corrective maintenance for control systems: PLCs, SCADA, HMI, drives, and automation panels. We migrate obsolete platforms to current technology, update firmware and SCADA versions, and provide support for Emotron equipment both in and out of warranty.
